2008 GUIDELINES
Riverside Lady Hawks / Girls Youth Basketball Club
We are not just interested in having kids play basketball. Our goal is to develop a work ethic that will transcend beyond the
basketball court and into the classroom and home. We believe that basketball is another avenue
for your children to build confidence and enhance their learning experience. Therefore, our players must demonstrate a
commitment to academics.
All athletes must maintain a 3.0 or higher grade point average with no more than 2 "Unsatisfactory" marks in the areas of
cooperation and/or work habits. Eligible players will participate in practices, team building events and tournament games. Any
player that does not meet these standards will become ineligible to participate. This ineligibility status will be upheld until the player
demonstrates a willingness (requesting tutoring and/or counseling) to improve their grades.
